VA law requires campfires to be attended at all times. Sunset Beach Resort has also banned the use of sparklers. Virginia and county law both prohibit the use of fireworks at any time. TrailersĪfter launching your water craft, the trailer must be returned to your site immediately, no exceptions. All personal golf carts MUST obey park speed limits and rules, or it will be banned. Homeowners insurance is NOT adequate, as it does not cover the golf cart away from home. All personal golf carts must be insured for coverage while on our site. The only 4 wheeled vehicles permitted in our park are your car, truck, SUV or adequately insured golf cart. All ATV/ UTV and other large terrain vehicles are prohibited. Failure to provide proof of proper insurance will result in prohibiting the of use on Sunset beach Resort property. All motorized vehicles must provide proof of insurance to be permitted on the property. No beach parking allowed, golf carts only. We do not allow stand-up scooters or 3 or 4 wheel ATV's. ALL vehicles must have a valid state license plate and a parking pass from the front office upon check-in. One extra vehicle may be parked on your site for an additional $8 per a day. Proof of insurance coverage while at Sunset Beach Resort is required for all personal golf carts. VA law requires all motor vehicles, including golf carts, to be operated by a licensed driver. All bikes used during dark hours must have working lights - Safety first! Golf Cart Operators VA law requires that all persons operating a bicycle under the age of 16 years of age wear a helmet while biking. The speed limit is 5 mph on all campground roads. Replacement sewer hoses and sewer doughnuts can be purchased at our camp store or office. Virginia law requires all sewer hoses to be undamaged and sewer connections be tight. Sunset Beach Resort recycles! Please place recyclables in the appropriate container. After 10 am, we ask you to please place trash in any of the dumpsters located on the resort. Trashīefore 10 am, trash may be placed in the front of your campsite to be collected by our maintenance staff. This includes Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Wolf Breeds, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terrier or any mix thereof. Pets must not be left outside unattended. Proof of rabies vaccination must be provided to the office at check-in time. PetsĪll pets MUST wear a current valid license. Quiet Timeįrom 11 pm to 8 am daily we ask that guests be quiet enough not to disturb your closest neighbor. Violations of courtesy rules could result in eviction from the property. They must register at the office and pay the guest/visitor fee and/or vehicle fee. Guests/VisitorsĬampers are responsible for their guests/visitors. County and state regulations allow no more than 6 persons to a site.
